Hello, I am Charlie Walton. I work as a freelance IT consultant, based in Inverness in Scotland.
I have been working with computer systems and Information Technology since the mid 80s, in
applied research and in scientific, industrial and commercial environments. I have been working
freelance since 1999.
Through Carousel I offer personal, flexible
assistance with computing and IT projects. My aim is friendly, professional, 'old fashioned' service, with fair pricing giving value for money.

Small businesses, big businesses, sole traders, public sector bodies, clubs, charities, home users....
Where?
I am based in the highlands in Scotland, but these days much can often be done remotely, so don't hesitate to get
in touch wherever you are.
And what does it cost?
I aim to offer value through fair pricing and a flexible approach, and with low overheads I can offer competitive rates.
Every requirement is different so a simple price list doesn't mean much; cost largely depends on time -
as a rough guide think in terms of 'day rates' in the £200-£400 (plus VAT) range.
